Press statement released by Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board on account of Mera Haochongba.

Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board Haying Khongban Uphong Yumnam released a press statement stating that, as celebrated in the past years, Mera gi Nongma Panba Thouram will be celebrated on coming 26th September.

Further, in the press statement it stated that, collecting clear and pure water from the Nungjeng Pond at Kangla will mark the begining of the celebration of Mera Houchongba. And also, on coming 8th October, a special event will be held which signifies the seeking of blessings of the common people living in the state.
