Groundwork laid for road widening work at kangpokpi, mayangkhang

As part of the road widening process of the highway, the Manipur government has beguna eviction drive at Mayangkhang village of Kangpokpi. Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has appreciated the residents of the village for their kind cooperation in the development activities of the state. Meanwhile, CM Biren inspected the ongoing construction of the statute of Maharaja Narasingh at the western gate of the Kangla in Imphal. Later, he also chaired a meeting of the Shri Shri Govindaji Temple Board at his office today to discuss various issues pertaining to development and administration of the temple
