GPS enabled highway patrol launched for nh-102

Chief minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh has launched the GPS Enabled Highway Patrol to be operated from Pallel to Moreh on National Highway 102 in Tengnoupal district, covering a stretch of 60 km. Being the gateway to South East Asian countries and given the massive trade which are happening via this highway, the government will ensure that all necessary measures are taken up to secure the highway, CM Biren said. Similar GPS enabled highway patrol has also been deployed on NH-2 from Mao to Kanglatongbi.
