Establishment of Modern Rice Mills in Manipur

CM N.Biren Singh today chaired a meeting to discuss on procurement of crops and foodgrains from the farmers in the State.  The meeting held at Cabinet hall of CM's Secretariat was attended by Minister Shri L. Susindro Meitei and concerned officials from CAF&PD and FCI and deliberated upon the modalities of procurement of crops and foodgrains by the Government, present situation of farmers’ inability to sell paddy at remunerative price and establishment of Modern Rice Mills in Manipur.
