Home coming ceremony for KCP-PWG & KYKL cadres held at 1st MR.
Home coming ceremony held at 1st MR today, welcoming 12 cadres of KCP-PWG and 1 cadre of KYKL for integration into the general public. Surrendered weapons include 2 Lathode guns, 3.9mm pistols , 2 IED detonators, 2 radio sets , 5 letter heads and 4 extortion letters from KCP (MC). Chief Minister N Biren, Minister Th. Bishwajit, Minister Y. Khemchand and other senior govt officials attends the ceremony.
The
chief minister said that with peace prevailing in the state under the guidance
of PM Narendra Modi, various cadres from
different militant outfits have joined the mainstream. He also appealed all the
underground outfits to take the righteous path by helping the government in its
various works and by coming forward to the
dialogue table for peaceful resolution. Later quoting Home Minister Amit Shah he
stated, not a single bullet will be fired and not a single FIR will be lodged.
