CDO-Kakching seized 9.824 kg of suspected WY tablets along with Rs.1.25 lacs in cash.

As part of the upcoming Independence day celebration, security measures in Kakching District have been heightened . As a result of the strict security measures, Today, teams of CDO-Kakching led by Sub. Ksh Prakash and assisted by HC Rohit under the command of Insp Abash Khan, OC-CDO, Kakching and supervision of Shri Binoy Chongtham, Adl. SP(ops), Kakching and overall supervision of Shri Shrey Vats, IPS, SP/Kakching , while conducting Frisking Checking at Pallel CDO checking point Laimanai Ching,  seized 9.824 kg of suspected WY tablets from two individuals coming in a white Gypsy with no registration number from Tengnoupal side. An amount of Rs. 1,25,000(one lac twenty five thousand) in cash was also recovered from their possession. The two individuals have been identified as SeikholunVaiphei (34) s/o ThangpaoVaiphei of Zion Veng, Moreh Part-IV, Tengnoupal Dist. and  Th. Khaljakham Baite (30) S/o. Paonam Baite of GuiteVeng, Moreh Ward No. 9, Tengnoupal, Manipur. The seized items and the arrested individuals are being handed over to Kakching PS for further necessary investigations.
