Wreath-laying ceremony in rememberance of Rifleman Gale Gurung of 15 Assam Rifles at SajikTampak
Sajik Tampak battalion of IGAR (South) conducted a wreath-laying ceremony
in rememberance of Rifleman Gale Gurung of 15 Assam Rifles at SajikTampak,
Chandel District on 28 July 2022. On fateful day of 28 Jul
1973, Rifleman Gale Gurung displayed exemplary courage and bravery while
fighting the insurgents at Zunheboto(Nagaland) and in line with the glorious
tradition of the Indian Secuirty Forces made supreme sacrifice in the line of
duty. The Assam Rifles salutes the gallantry of the braveheart and great
sacrifice of his family.
