Mt Manipur as Mt Harriet at Andaman Nicobar

CM expressed gratefulness to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for renaming Mt  Harriet in Andaman Nicobar Islands as Mt Manipur and also for redeveloping a National Park at Mt Manipur. Speaking on the occasion Home Minister Amit Shah retold the history of Manipur reminding the nation how the brave Manipuri Warriors fought against the mighty British to protect their motherland. He also mentioned about the long years of Manipur under the British Rule . He talked about the great leaders, Tikendrajit , Thangal General and Maharaj Kulachandra who were hanged to death .
