Fourth nine personnel have completed their arms training

Chief Minister N Biren singh attended the 73rd Van Mahotsav celebration at Nongmaiching Reserve Forest where a mass tree plantation drive was also carried out. I was joined by Minister Th Biswajit,  Minister L Susindro (Yaima), MLA  Kh Ibomcha, MLA  Sheikh Noorul Hasan and MP Sanajaoba Leisemba Maharaj.

As announced on World Environment Day, we have been able to plant 45 lakh trees out of the 75 lakh trees which was promised to be planted by August. This is a very encouraging step as we are observing this 75th year of India’s independence as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Additionally, we have starting arming the Forest personnel to protect our forest more stringently. 49 personnel have completed their arms training yesterday.
