African swine flu found in Bishnupur district

After the confirmation of African Swine flu positive case in M/S rainbow piggery Fram in Leimaram makha leikai, Bishnupur District, Office of the Deputy Commissioner issued an order and said that it has become expedite to prevent spread of the disease in the area under the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagius Disease in Animals Act, 2009 . Further in the issued order, there was band on selling and carring of pigs and pig related items in the said restricted area and further , the areas fallingh within 1 km radius fr5om the epicentre of the disease is declared as infected Zone and arears falling within 9 km radius is declared as Survelliance Zone according to an order issued by Additional District magistrate Hanjabam Bobby Sharma.
