We need mother nature but nature dose not need us

In the flag off Ceremony of E Rickshaw road show held at Western side of Kangla Gate, CM Biren stated that mother nature doesn’t need or depend on us but we human beings depend on mother nature.

In the ceremony, CM stated that we human beings are responsible for the changes in nature and climatic conditions where we face extreme rainfall during rainy season and extreme heat during summer time. Series of human activities lead to the depletion of the Ozone layer covering the earth and such factors lead to such extreme changes in weather condition which eventually leads to Global Warming. He further stated that it is the right time for us to protect our mother nature from further damage for the upcoming future generations. Also, the rate of pollution in Imphal city is high and CM appeals to the people to start using E Vehicles. CM also said that if the auto rick shaws and diesel autos are replaced by E Vehicles, Govt and Banks are willing to help the auto drivers at any cost. Lastly, he expressed happiness seeing the increase in the no. of E Vehicles in the state and stated that Govt. is making plans to start up battery charging spots for the vehicles. In the road show, around 200 E Rickshaw vehicles took part.
