Thoubal police demolished brown sugar factory

As part of our ongoing drive by Thoubal District Police on War against Drugs today at about 07.00 am, after receipt of a reliable information about a Brown Sugar factory at the residence of Thoubalmayum Bibi w/o  Th. Kadimur @ Kadim of Moijing Mina Bazar, a joint team of CDO Thoubal led by O. Wangkhomba, Addl. SP (Ops) Thoubal and assisted by Inspector N. Sadananda Singh OC/CDO Unit Thoubal including women police under the supervision of Jogeshchandra Haobijam, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District conducted a raid at the said house.

The police team found the accused person and upon conducting a house search, found 4(four) large yellow plastic sacks, one blue plastic brite container and one red plastic brite container suspected Heroin (Brown sugar) weighing a total of 222.85 kgs. On further searching inside the house, the following items used for processing of opium to produce Heroin (Brown Sugar) were also found:- One wooden crushing machine, One electric mixing machine and a weighing machine, 2 (Two) bottles containing a total of 1.5 litres of Ammonium Chloride, 134 litres of a chemical liquid solution found inside two plastic brite containers, Plastic Containers, one aluminium container, gas burner and cylinder. Thereafter, all the seized items and the arrested person were handed over to Thoubal PS and a regular NDPS case has been registered for further investigation.
