South Asian Ashihara Karate Championship 2022

In the 11th South Asian Ashihara Karate Championship 2022 held at Chalsa Gayanath Vidyapath High school, West Bengal from 24th June till 26 June three athletes representing Karate Association Manipur took part as a part of the Indian team of All India Kyokushinkai karate Federation. In the Championship, the three athletes namely, Mashungam Horam, Horngamshang Chiphang and Shimnganing Marzah. 

Horam won bronxe medal in 65-70 kg category and the other two reached quarterfinals in 55-60 kg and 60-65 kg respectively. The team was led by Ch. Premchandra.
