Polling for karbi anglong autonmous council held

In Assam, polling for the 26 seats of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council was held today amidst tight security. Over 7 lakh people were eligible to cast their votes to decide the political fate of 154 candidates, including 14 female candidates. The polling conclude at 4.30 pm.  The counting of votes will be held on June `12.
