Missing Army Jawan from Manipur Found Death in Punjab

An army jawan (from Mao, Manipur) who went missing 2 days ago was found death in a suspicious manner by the Punjab Police somewhere in the border of Jalandhar and Ludhina.

Mr. L. Komuo aged 31 years from Khridziiphi village,  Manipur who was serving in the Indian Army (Naga Regiment) went missing when he was on his way home for leave on 7th June 2022.  Starting his journey from Leh Ladakh to Srinagar and then to Jammu. Thereafter, he moved from Jammu on 7th June by train (22318-SDAH Humsafar) towards New Delhi and was to reach Delhi on the evening of 8th June 2022 but was reported missing from the train before reaching Delhi by his friend who was also travelling in the same train in a different compartment. It was reported that he last spoke with his wife on 8th June 2022 between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM after which his number went unreachable.
