Kangpokpi Police have apprehended one drug smuggler

A team of Kangpokpi Police have apprehended one drug smuggler who is identified as Thaovikhu Mk (21), resident of Laii Village, Tadubi, Senapati District, along with 71 soap cases of suspected Heroin powder weighing 2.955 kg. He further disclosed that the suspected Heroine was obtained from Letkhohao Haokip (42) yrs resident of T. Champhai Village, Churachandpur. Immediately a team rushed to Churachandpur and conducted a search operation at the residence of Letkhojang Haokip and recovered 110 soap cases of suspected Heroin powder.  Both the accused were arrested and a case has been registered for further investigation.
