Kangpokpi district will be develop within 3 months

Chief Minister N Biren  immense delight to attend the reception & felicitation of me and my council of ministers at the Thomas ground, Kangpokpi. It's always a pleasure for me to be amongst the people of Kangpokpi. During the ceremony, I have announced the following development works. Development of Thomas Ground with an outlay of Rs 9 Crore, which include developing the football ground, retaining walls, multipurpose hall, compound wall etc. We will begin the work in the next 3 months, Market sheds will be constructed at Keithelmanbi and Saparmeina at the cost of Rs 20-30 lakh per unit depending on the number of vendors,  Road towards Omega school will be constructed in the next 15 days, Construction of a hostel at the Kuki Football Academy,  Suspension bridge at Yangkongpao will be examined under appropriate work program, Rs 75 lakhs have been sanctioned for construction of a playground at Konsakhul, Kangpokpi-Tamenglong road to be converted into a National highway soon and Construction of Thadou Inpi office cum auditorium
