Felicitated two Tangkhul female body builder at Ukhrul town

Two Tangkhul female body builders, Solimla Jajo (17) and Solan Jajo (17) were felicitated by Body Builder's Association of Ukhrul District (BBAUD) today at UDTWA Hall, Ukhrul town.

The athletes are prepping to participate at the upcoming 54th Body Building and Physique Sports Championship of Miss Asia and Miss World to be held at Maldives and Thailand respectively. 

David A Shimray, President, Tangkhul Naga Long graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Somi K Kasomwoshi invoked God's blessings for the two young athletes.

Expressing his joy and satisfaction, TNL President wished the girls the best for the upcoming event and said, the two Jajos have introduced Tangkhul to the World.

While #SolimlaJajo has won Miss Manipur, Woman Sports Physique in 2019 and placed top 5 at the All India Federation Cup for senior Women Model Physique categories in 2021 at Uttar Pradesh, this will be the first International exposure for both the athletes. The duo are trained and nurtured by Robert L Meitei, the owner of Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul.

The felicitation program was attended by CSOs, well wishers and family members.
